Block Paving – Front Driveway
For this project we was asked to install a new driveway using block paving. The client chose their desired blocks and we recommended them having a pattern in the middle to make their new driveway more attractive.
We started by digging up the front garden using a mini digger. All the old concrete and turf was removed and loaded into our truck. The area was then levelled off. Our professional block pavers then laid a layer of hard-core and membrane sheeting to the whole area. A new drain was installed to stop the driveway from flooding. Once this was done we could then add the block paving. We started by laying different coloured block paving to the driveway. We used a 45 degree herringbone pattern with a triple diamond design in the middle of the driveway to make it look more attractive. A charcoal and sand coloured block was then laid around the whole edge of the driveway to make it stand out more. As you can see we created many square pattern to the opening of the driveway using the same charcoal and sand coloured blocks as we used before. Our clients from Lancashire loved their new driveway.
